George killed Lennie for many different reasons. George was the one who watched over lennie so he felt that it was his decision on whether he should kill him or not. It’s easy to tell that George is Lennie’s care taker because George and Lennie travel together and George makes sure they stick together and that they are both safe. Another reason that you could tell the George takes care of lennie is because George promised Lennie Aunt Clara that he would watch over lennie. And lastly Lennie listens to everything that George tells him to do “Jus tell Lennie what to do and he’ll do it if it don’t take no figuring. He can’t think of nothing to do himself, but he sure can take orders” (page: ). This shows that Lennie needs someone to help take care of him. …show more content…
Lennie continuously keeps on creating problems. One of the problems Lennie created multiple times is the killing of the poor little innocent animals. Another problem created by Lennie is when he killed Curley’s wife. When Lennie killed Curley’s wife he knew it was wrong “I done another bad thing” Lennie said (page: 91). How many things does Lennie have to kill if he wouldn’t have been shot who knows how many other things would have been dead. Lastly, the other problem created by Lennie is when he touched the girl in Weed’s dress and the girl started to panic, then George and Lennie got chased out of town by the angry mob and this is why Lennie needs help making decisions and wouldn’t last on his
