Narmer was the leading and the last pharaoh of his time making a huge impact on Egypt. Narmer was born in Egypt in 3180 BCE and died 60 years later at 3120 BCE also in Egypt. Narmer married the queen Nithotep. They had a son named Hor-ah who soon would become a pharaoh like his father. Narmer is known to be the last pharaoh of the Predynastic period (3150-2613 BCE). When Narmer was a prince he set out to conquer Lower Egypt. With completing this mission he would become the next pharaoh. Narmer is known to have founded the first dynasty known to history. After Narmer conquered Lower Egypt he united the two lands known as Upper and Lower Egypt. Now Narmer wore the Red War Crown. He soon fought in some major battles. One of his battles where he took over the Delta he captured 400 oxen, 120,000 men, and nearly 1.5 million goats.
Historians accidentally found Narmer and discovered many interesting facts with different beliefs. At first some historians believed Narmer and this other pharaoh Scorpion were the same people some people still believe that but majority goes to Narmer and Menes being the same person. Historians don’t know the actual cause of Narmer's death but they think his death cause was his age. When historians accidentally found Narmer they also found statues near his tomb.
