This statement is powerful, I believe that Oren Lyons is trying to say that even if we break one of our governments laws, in most cases we will just pay our time and it will be over But if we break a “natural law” such as littering we will have to deal with that for the rest of our life because it will affect our economy and the way we live. It really makes you think what the difference is because humans made up the law we live by, but the laws we should live by will always be there even after we are gone. Though I do understand that in this day and age that pretty much 50% or so of our land is waste and that not a lot of people cared in the past so it might seem pointless.
