The sole history of the Hebrew society is based on faith in Yahweh. The Hebrews believed in monotheistic faith. They received the 10 commandments from Moses who received the law from Yahweh. The Hebrew’s believed men had free will and they took up their worldly actions strictly with the Lord. God does not control mankind but rather mankind has the freedom to choose. The Hebrews refused to have a kind because they gave all of their loyalty to Yahweh and no one else needed to be in control. It gave no meaning to which social status you were, every citizen was under the same law of God. This is a completely different faith to that as we see from the Code of Hammurabi. From the Hebrew faith came the existence of the Bible, this ancient document is the most purchased book in America. Keeping in mind the amount of impact religion has on society, the most popular religious belief in the United States is Christianity. Religion is what I base every view I have off of, whether that be my political views, my views on relationships, or my moralistic views. With that being said, the Hebrews have single-handedly shaped how the majority of America view everyday
