Worldview Paper (110 words)
What is a worldview? Everyone has a worldview rather one is aware of it or not it still exists. As said by Bennie J. van der Walt “a worldview is not only a view of the world, but a way of life in the world.” The term worldview has been described all throughout literature as a lens through which one sees the world. If one had a colored lens, the world would be seen all in that color and that color may be different from the next persons. One’s worldview is shaped by everything that is encountered in life from generations past, culture, life experiences, choices and even the unknown can shape one’s worldview.

A biblical worldview should influence everything we do in life. The way we treat and speak to others and the way we carry out our daily lives. Knowing that man was created in the image of God (Gen 2:15), it is necessary for us to treat one another so.
The way we see God influences everything we do in life—the way we treat each other (as individuals being created in God's image), our stewardship of God's creation, our understanding of our vocation as a way to glorify God— all areas of life are changed as our view of God changes (Etzel & Gutierrez, 2014, p.3).
