I was confronted with all sorts of feelings when I started analyzing what I could from their possessions and presentations of their spaces. Each stuffed animal, each poster on the wall, each picture hanging around all had stories about them and reasons for being put up where they were. They made each respective house a home. The way that items were presented when I had arrived at each place had much to say about how comfortable each subject felt in my presence and how neat each subject was. Some of the beds had been left undone, clothes all over the place, while some were tidier than I could have imagined. Each experience left me with a lot to say about how comfortable people can be around each other and under what circumstances they feel comfortable. The different lifestyle choices and ways of living show the upbringing, cultures, personalities, and souls of each person I chose to photograph. With my camera, I explored each person in his or her personal environments uninhibited. I told each person to pretend I wasn’t there, just to act as they naturally would with no one around. It was interesting to see the activities of each person, all having different habits. Photography allows a crisp, quick capture of bits and pieces of each person’s life through the lens. If it’s someone I care about, I take the time to see life through his or her lenses. I like to experience their lives so that I put my feet in their shoes to see what it’s like to be them. I chose to analyze the room space because each room is created in the person’s image. It is where they spend at least some of their nights, so I figured a room can have a lot to say about who a person in. I make the effort to bond myself in a personal way to make sure each person knows that they aren’t much different from each other in the end, at all. Though we may look different, when
