There are communities that wait for hours for water to arrive. They stand around a single faucet and wait for the water so that they can fill up their buckets and walk miles back to their home, then do it all again the next day. This reminds me of an issue that unfortunately has been relevant for many years now, which is the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. These companies drain all the water and end up destroying the wildlife around it. No water equals no fish. And in many states in the U.S., collecting rainwater is illegal. People are not even allowed to use water that freely falls from the sky.
There have been solutions towards having clean water. UltraViolet light kills bacteria in water. This means there can be plants where water can be sanitized simply, or this could even be done at home. And as it turns out, in India, a person can receive 10 liters of water a day for only $2 per year. So clean water is accessible, the only thing in the way is the government and the corporations who want to make a profit off the less
