The United States airspace is programmed such that all aircrafts or plane does not travel on a straight line to their respective destination from their origin. They are made to follow a certain route, which is the same as what is experienced on the interstate highway system. The paths they follow were selected more than 50 years ago and navigation networks were placed along the path. The continuous advance in technology shows that there is possibility of replacing the free flight regime with a direct flight; in this case plane can travel directly to their respective destination from any location.
These advancement in technology include the global positioning of satellites, …show more content…
Practically, all these activities can work hand in hand and to say the least, they are being put into practice today. It is important to note that the designs in which radars are seen under free flight today are very complex than before. It will be understandable to say that without an extensive training coupled with an up to date computerized alert systems, controlling of air traffic will be very difficult under free flight than what is experienced now to keep potential disaster from occurring.
With the idea of free flight, planes are bound to travel on a straight path to and from their destinations. Although there may be some restrictions that are in place because of some military activities in some certain airspace, hence this might limit the flexibilities the flight will …show more content…
Nevertheless, websites that has distinctive business design and functionality will mostly require such instrument to have a number of domain specific questions. Therefore the study was based on a single domain, which is the airline industry. The research, which was opened with a quality workshop, was aimed to develop the qualities of a good airline websites based on the direct words of the customers. One of the questions asked from the randomly selected individual was “what are the qualities of an excellent airline website?” At the beginning the four participants carried out their work individually, and they were encouraged to give authoritative explanations for the thoughts they have on the quality they assumed. Later on they were subdivided into two teams to combine their ideas. At the end, the two teams were brought together to develop a unified list of qualities. The 56 items that were mentioned was divided into six groups: design/functionality, fare, information, obsession, and other. The entire people that participated has a first-hand experience of purchasing flight tickets
