The Value of Education
Can you image how hard a life could be if the people is not educated? It was possible back in the retro days to make money without going to college, or to graduate from high school; however, in today society people need education to prosper in daily life. "You have to go wholeheartedly into anything in order to achieve anything worth having" a quote by Frank Wright. Think it this way the more education equals the more money you will have. Education is everywhere, surrounding the society, it’s the matter of fact if one is curious enough to dig for more. Life is taught without education for simply making a living, but learning to value education is our responsibility and this is what I believe.

My dad was often smart in school, yet due to poverty he wasn’t able to continue his education. When he was seven, he started working on farm to help his family to earn money, so they can provide fees for his schooling. Three years later, his father died; moreover, he was immature child with no understanding of the world. Now, he has to earn twice for his family to make a living. It got so difficult for him to work at daytime and to attend school. Thus, he decided to educate his brother and sister instead of himself by working hard and taking a place of his dad. Later in life, my dad tried to educated himself. He has only completed second grade of schooling, until the death of his father; however, he has triumph those obstacle which had twisted his life. Furthermore, my dad thought it is never too late to start learning in life and it’s true that it’s never too late to pursue your education no matter the age differences. Nevertheless, every day from that day he started to push himself toward learning. Do you know? How people say “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” This means that learning is hard, even for me when I try to learn English, …show more content…
Some people appreciate the learning they get and others just take it for granted. Graduation rates have been mostly on the upswing over the past decade. In 2000, the U.S. high-school graduation rate stood at 71.7%, according to the study from the National Center for Education Statistics, the primary federal entity for national school data. Therefore, 28.3% of the High school students are under graduate. Though this may be, in the America; yet, in unindustrialized country, children fight for education. For instance, In Fiji you got to pay fees to go to school not just private school; nevertheless, the public too. Additionally, the fees for my schooling was $40.00 per year which could be hard for your family to support if you have more sibling; since, forty dollars for each kid was unimaginable for those family who was in poverty. In fact, the payments for the school get higher as you transfer from elementary to high school. My dad went to school without shoes or backpack, and he had to walk miles to get to school because he was living in the farm. Also, after school he had to help his family selling the harvest from their plantation. The life is hard for people fighting for education in other countries comparing the life of Americans. Just remember this that everyone in this world is not lucky as we are having worthy education and I would love to share with you that I am
