15/03/2016 Connor presented to Housing as homeless yesterday evening and accommodation was provided in a hotel for one night. Connor is said to be taking drugs including legal highs and steals from people. All MASH Checks have been completed to inform decision making. MASH has spoken with Mother who has refused for Connor to return home as she cannot cope with him and has previously engaged in support but nothing has improved.
Connor has been offered an accommodation in Travel Lodge , but this did not take place as Connor was under 18 yrs . Again Connor was offered an accommodation in Northampton, but due to Connor's complex needs service providers ceased their support. Connor was again offered an other accommodation in Nottingham. He requires a copy of his Birth Certificate which he will procure from his mother.
Housing
Connor is residing with Girlfriends grandparents . Connor is 17 and discharged himself from Social Care accommodation and refused any further offers.
Contact
Connor advises that he has open phone contact with his mother and face to face contact. He acknowledges that the relationship is not good and that he feels betrayed by his mother and the memory of his father. He recognises that being away from her eliminates 80% of the problems and he is hoping he will be able to express himself to her more openly now. He hopes that this is a new start in terms of re-establishing a more positive relationship with his mother.
Financial Assistance
An arrangement between mother and Girlfriends grandmother has been made with weekly payments to support Connor.
Furthermore, Connor has appointments to apply for Job Seekers Allowance, he has enrolled with Northampton
College which will boost his entitlement once he has been accepted onto an educational
