The author assesses the labour markets of each country during one month period from July 2014 to August 2014 and two year period from 2012 to 2014. This article is useful to my research question because it reports the recent youth unemployment rates around the world and allows me to compare the rates between Australia and other countries. It also clearly compares and analyses the increases and decreases in both the unemployment rates and employment indexes in each country. All the tables and graphs are very useful for me as they provide accurate numbers for each year. The limitation of this source is that the countries are not categorised into developed and developing nations; therefore, it is hard to rank the countries with the highest to lowest unemployment rates as there may be some differences. The name or the occupation of the author is also not provided and the reader does not know whether it was written by an authorised person. Despite this, it is very reliable as the statistics are gained from primary sources.
