Included in the Treaty of Versailles were terms that were intended to be met by Germany. The terms included having Germany pay reparations to England and France for the war, which greatly hurt Germany economically. With the amount of money they had used to fight in World War I, this requirement had caused Germany to become vastly in debt. Their economy faced a great downfall which caused the country to suffer. Not only had the Treaty of Versailles cause Germany to suffer economically, but it also caused them to suffer in humiliation. Some of the terms on the list included that Germany must take full blame for the cause of World War I, in which was seen unfair as they were not in fact fully responsible for the cause of the war, which made the German people angry by this treaty condition.
