James says they will war with each other because they war within themselves. They covet what they do not have because they are envious; leading to conflict that starts with quarrels and ending with violence and even murder. We live in a world of entitlement. “What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine.” We lust for the things of the world, whether they be material possessions or status. Donald Trump has a history of this very thing; having been the target of numerous lawsuits involving people who have not been paid for work done. As The Antichrist, Trump, as well as the aristocratic elites in the last days, will refuse to pay the workers whom have worked a full day — another example of an opposite quality of Jesus Christ. This evil will testify against Trump and others, as the outcry of cheated workers reach the Lord of the Sabaoth. In contradistinction, Jesus, as the land owner, paid a full day’s wage to those workers who only worked a part day (Matt. 20:1-16).
