Aquinas' First Argument, Motion

The reason for all of this information is because Moses was born many centuries after the creation. Therefore, where did he get detail information on the creation of the world? It is quite possible that the patriarchs passed on some written records of their descendants mainly the names of people that lived in the book of Genesis. Oral tradition may have supplemented these sources. But the information, particularly the creation account, had to be imparted to Moses by divine revelation and divine revelation comes from God.
Isaiah the prophet, a real person and another man of God who lived in Old Testament times. He states in the book of Isaiah chapter 45 versus 18-19: “I the Lord created the heavens. He is the God who formed the earth and made it. He did not want it to be empty, but he wanted life on the earth. This is what the Lord says: “I am the Lord. There is no other God. I did not speak in secret or hide my words in some dark place. I did not tell the family of Jacob to look for me in empty places. I am the Lord, and I speak the truth; I say what is right.”
