The first challenge faced by first year university students is time management. Time management is the biggest keys to success in university. The second challenge faced by first year students is coping style on the academic subjects. Coping style is the most obvious pitfall for first year students. There is a major difference between university and high school. The amount of face-to-face time with teachers is different. First year university students have a lot of subjects to cope and manage. Students must try to adopt the styles of teaching or methods being taught by the lecturers. Students need to understand the process of the subjects and try to find ways to cope and adopt the style of teaching that is being taught by the lecturer. Students need to change the coping style to accommodate to the understanding of the subjects. Normal adapting methods received by understudies were consistent activity, asking, directing, staring at the TV arrangement or comedies, honing contemplation including yoga and jujitsu, and listening to delicate music.
