She took the phone off of her ear.
"I'm calling... p-people..." she answered, then going back to the phone. "Operator, I'm so sorry, I have to go off the line... there's someone I need to call..."
You could hear the lady on the other end raise her voice in order to keep Gwen on the line, but instead, she hung up. This was who Gwen was, stark and straightforward.
"Who are you calling...??" I asked.
She dialed the phone and then answered. "Daddy...?"
I could hear the voice from where I was standing. "GWEN? WHERE ARE YOU?"
"Daddy... I'm at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria... Please come... Fast..."
She dropped the phone, collapsing to the floor. I stooped down and picked her up into a bridal position, holding …show more content…
"When she died... please believe me, it happened to me too, but her spirit possessed the body of the animatronic. She is here, and she'll answer any questions you need her too... and she can even go home, if you allow her too... this pizzeria is no place for Gwen..."
Her father walked up, weeping. I expected him to embrace her, but instead, he practically spit on her. "I'm not taking this monster home with me."
I began to growl, as I slowly became angrier. The side of me, the scary side of me, the side I've been keeping a secret for so many years... It was coming out ferociously. I said in my calmest voice. Her father and the police didn't move a muscle but instead watched. There was nothing they could have done at this point, and they didn't want to contribute a thing to what was going on. Instead, they busied themselves with the bleeding golden rabbit on the ground...
I passed by the parts room where I found a large piece of scrap metal. This was perfect. I carried both her body and the scrap metal outside, soon finding myself in the empty lot between the repair shop and the pizzeria. Laying her down, I got to work on the hole.
I dug until I couldn't dig anymore, totally unaware of the multitude of cars that had passed between when I started and stopped. I gingerly laid her into the hole and covered it up, placing the piece of scrap metal upright as a sort of tombstone. It would have to do.
"I loved you..." I whispered, laying against the ground where her body was buried. "I loved you, and I will never forget
