At the end of the story, the wolf had gotten tired of the games the little pig was playing. He thought that if he goes down the chimney and gets into his house, then he would be able to beat the pig at his own game. The author suggested that the wolf thought he would finally get his way by this brilliant plan. The story stated “And the little pig put on the cover again and in an instant, boiled him up and ate him for supper, and lived happily ever after” (24). Because the little pig boiled up the big bad wolf, it proves that he is ruthless. The pig is admirable for this because his other brothers were eaten by the wolf. The last pig was ruthless and smart enough to realize that he could just boil and eat the wolf to end all of chaos. In the story, the other two pigs used flimsy materials which did not make their house sturdy. Because of this the two pigs go eaten up. The third little pig realized that brick was the strongest material so he asked a man if he can use some of his bricks to build his house. “Please Man, give me those bricks to build a house with” (10). The pig was smart and resourceful. While the other pigs chose light and useless resources like straw and furze(shrubbery), the third pig chose one that would come in handy. When the wolf came to eat the pigs, both pigs got eaten because the Big Bad Wolf blew the house down, and ate them. Meanwhile, after choosing a material like bricks, the Big Bad Wolf, was not able to enter and eat the last pig. This makes the pig admirable because he was clever to use bricks instead of the lighter materials. It also made the third little pig, the smartest and safest out of the three
