Walking into a beach dock themed store with wooden like floors. Casually wandering into the girl’s side of the store hoping I don't blow my money on all the clothes I fall in love with. The big screens with videos of the beach making me wish it could be warm enough outside to go, which helps the store sell more clothes since its soon to be spring. On the left would be the dresses and tops hanging on clothes racks and on the other side would be the more casual shirts with the shorts and tank tops on the table a couple feet away. As I keep walking deeper into the store I start to smell the cologne or perfume scent that they have by the register. By the time I make it to the end of the store, which is the clearance section, my mind just starts thinking of reasons or occasions that I could wear what ever clothing I end up wanting to purchase since its on sale.
In the article The Science of Shopping, written by Malcolm Gladwell back in 1996; he talks about the secrets Paco Underhill develops on how people shop. The article states a wide variety of ways in how to get people to even think about going into the shop.
