IN 2014, they taught English to 280 refugees, secured jobs for 198, and in total, welcomed 447 new refugees from 43 different countries into Chicago. In order to fund such an extensive service, Refugee One relies heavily on donations from individuals, foundations, corporate partners, franchises, and national or government partners. Approximately 70% of the funds come form the government and about 90% is used for program services. In 2014, Refugee One used just over $3 million for all of the clients and additional costs.
