Social dominance theory can also come into play when sport viewing choices are made. Male viewers are more likely to choose sport team that featuring male athlete because these broad case tend to reinforce the societal belief and are more powerful and capable than women (Angelini 19). Female viewers are more likely to watch female athlete to help female endorsement however, prefer to watch male athlete. As well their skills that are broadcast highlights their performance and skills. Therefore more endorsers want their characteristic want them to represent them thus leading them to more sponsorship and endorsement.
