It today’s society there are more and more women coming forward about being sexually harassed. This could take place anywhere, when your walking down the street, in a store, at a party, a workplace and in the military. It’s a growing problem. There are women scared to walk down the street at night because they are afraid of what a man might do to her. On October 8th of this year, Mary Spears a 27 year old female was at the American Legion Joe Louis Post No. 375 on the east side of Detroit when the 38-year-old man approached her and began to talk to her. The man asked her for her phone number, she refused saying she was already involved with someone. The man then began to harass her which then caused a fight, having the suspect pulling out a handgun on Mary Spears and killed her. How is this a reasonable death? Mary Spears did nothing wrong. Mary 's death sparked a riot on social media. The hashtag YesToAllWomen began to trend with people weighing in their inputs and their stories of things that happened to them. “#yesallwomen because its not about this one shooting or an anti-male agenda. For the nearly 50 million Americans who do not have insurance, this would mean an out-of-pocket expense of $10,000” To thing about that, if this was a single mother how would she get this money? There is women who can’t even take care of their financal situations by themselves, they have hardly no money to live off of and then they are expected to pay this
