I find myself nodding again. I guess that means I know what I'm doing. I hop up onto a wooden platform and the man clips a little metal thing to the line, that's the only thing suspending me, (This makes my life being on the line feel a lot more literal.) The warm rain splashes against my face and arm as I look around trying to take everything in, I gaze over the trees below me, which move in a blur of vivid greens under my dangling legs. Until now I hadn't realized I was going nearly this fast (and I understood why they called it zip lining.) The wire made a dull 'zzzzzzzz' sound like when you do up a jacket and I can feel it vibrate my hands as I grip onto it through the thick yellow gloves. I could feel the friction making my fingers warm and the air is sweetly fresh and earthy.
