Leukemia is a cancer that begins in the blood-forming tissue and floods the bloodstream with abnormal white blood cells. Most commonly, Leukemia will begin in the bone marrow or lymphatic system, both blood-forming tissues. However, there are some factors that you cannot control. For example, genetic abnormalities can lead to Leukemia. As mentioned before, the cause of Leukemia is unknown and produces a range of vague symptoms.
