She avoided a loss of over 50 thousand dollars by selling all her shares after receiving non-public information from one of her acquaintance’s (Buell, 2014). Stewart was indicted on 9 federal felonies, found guilty and sentenced to 5 months incarceration and a two year period of supervised release.
