It has gone thorough legislative and regulatory changes in addition to strategic changes to form an all conclusive program that focuses on the overall children’s health. Some of the key issues that arise from this case include those of efficiency, accountability and distribution of resources. For to efficiency, various organizations stepped in in ensuring that food was not only delivered in an efficient manner but also in efficient bulks to all the public and private schools. Accountability is highlighted where strategies have been put in place to ensure that only meals of high quality are offered in the school lunches. Distribution of resources is highlighted where the food has to be shared in the over 93,000 schools participating in the school lunch program, in both the public and private schools. Connected to the above, issues of decision making and organizational structure as in public offices are portrayed. The different organizations offering the program are engaged in decision-making process especially when they have to decide which of the schools needs a higher amount of food in relation to student number and other factors.
