I say this because in idealism, the aim of education is to discover and develop each student’s abilities and full moral excellence in order to better serve society. Its our responsibility as educators to prepare the children to be successful to continue to lead society in an functional state. Essentialism is the educational theory that I feel is closely related to my philosophy of education. Essentialists believes that their is a core of knowledged that need to be given to students in a systematic and disciplined way. Uwaga. She was one of the assistant principals at the school I first taught at as a teacher. She was more than just the assistant principal to me. She took me under her wing and mentored me. She gave me great feedback and supported me even after she left during the school year my second year of teaching. She help me prepare for observations and gave me teaching strategies that would help my students become successful.
