Stand your ground law states that an individual has no duty to retreat from any place they have a lawful right to be and may use any level of force, including lethal, if they reasonably believe they face an imminent and immediate threat of serious bodily harm or death. The Stand Your Ground Law was passed in 2006 for the first time in Georgia. Although some may believe that the “Stand Your Ground” law protects American citizens from any potential threats, people may take unfair advantages of the law;therefore, the current “Stand Your Ground” law should be abolished.

There are examples that prove Toure’s believes that African-Americans boys are not liked by many. For example, Jim crow laws which were laws that were used to have racial segregation were used to discriminate against Blacks. White owners or even Black owners of barbershops sometimes only allowed Caucasian customers to be seated and get haircuts. This is how African-Americans were discriminated against since the early 1900’s. Blacks are abused everyday and they can abuse them like back then when they were lynched. This has been happening since slavery in North
