The Primordial Soup Hypothesis was a theory created by Alexander Oparin and Haldane in 1920. This theory stated that life started from a body of water and amino acids. The beginning of life began as heterotrophs then started to mutate to create more life. Stanley Miller and Harold Urey did an experiment to test this theory. This experiment used gases of Earth to created all 20 amino acids, which can be used to create life. Creating all the 20 amino acids, help create try to prove this theory because amino acids are used to help create life. …show more content…
This theory stated that a biochemical cycle grew assembled and created the first living cell. Which is lead to thinking life was created on the surface of iron sulfide minerals. To test this theory, Wachterhauser activated acetic acids to by carbon fixation. Which can be made into larger organic compounds for life. …show more content…
This theory was brought up by many scientist such as Berzelius, Kelvin, Helmholtz and many more. The Panspermia Hypothesis says that everything is made from seeds that is spreaded everywhere throughout space. Everything of life came from these seeds. Recently, about 20 years ago, we discovered a meteor that fell down from Mars. This particular meteor had evidence of nanobacteria. As a result of discovering this meteor, society started to support the idea of life originating from Mars, but life came to Earth as a result of some life coming off of Mars to Earth. The idea of the Panspermia was an intriguing, but also extraordinary to
