First, many homosexuals have committed suicide for bullying or just for being rejected by friends, classmates, coworkers, or even family. According to recent gay bullying statistics, “gay and lesbian teens are two to three times as more likely to commit teen suicide than other youths. About 30 percent of all completed suicides have been related to sexual identity crisis.” (http://www.bullyingstatistics.org 3) It is not surprising since we know gay teens have to handle with both adolescence problematic and sexual acceptance. Creating laws and allowing LGBT-rights, would protect LGBT community and encourage teenagers to accept and tolerate the LGBT individuals.
