The first thing I had to do was define what a culture was. Culture is, in the words of E.B. Tylor, "that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, morals, law, custom and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society."
Cambridge English Dictionary states that culture is, "the way of life, especially the general customs and beliefs, of a particular group of people at a particular time."

I will be looking for patterns between cultures and use these patterns to further understand human behavior. I will also be comparing foreign cultures to my own and hope to broaden my understanding of the world
Ever since I was a kid, I have loved reading about history and past and present cultures. Traveling is a passion of mine along with experiencing new ways of life across the world. In the future I hope to do volunteer work abroad helping 3rd world citizens develop their communities.

Since this project was a generalization of massive societal groups, some stereotyping was used, however this stereotyping was inoffensive, and informative, the way all practical stereotypes should be.
Did it fit w/ global context and how? The global context of cultural identity directly relates to my project as I am examining the identities of cultures. The elements of culture influence people’s daily lives around the world. This connection between cultures and personality fully relates to the global context of personal and cultural identities.
I approached this project as a challenge of my utilization of resources around me to examine environment across the world. This was difficult as I could not talk to people from these different cultural groups and instead had to use written text as my sources.
My communication skills with my advisor were very poor, as I did not meet with him at all. I believed it was not necessary to meet with my advisor as he was not an expert on the topic I was covering, however in retrospect it might have made the process of completing the project a lot easier and made a smoother final
