Likewise, RIASEC model postulates that people project self- and world-of-work views onto occupational titles and make career decisions that satisfy their preferred personal orientations; seek environments that are aligned with their personality types and engage in activities that utilize their abilities (Holand as cited in Japitan., et al., 2015; Kemboi, Kindiki & Misigo, 2016). Kemboi, Kindiki & Misigo (2016) study on the relationship between personality types and career choices of undergraduate students in Moi University found out that student’s personality types significantly influence the students’ career choice. They concluded that students who have investigative personality types are more likely to major in science fields.
