Children must also know if they have been abused by members of their own. This is where the importance of comprehensive sex education taught at school comes in. Sex education should be taught as early as elementary school. If the effects of sexual abuse and recovery of abuse are taught at school, a child will be more inclined to seek help. When I was about nine, I was sexually molested by a family member. I had no idea how or who talk about it with. I had no idea what happened to me, but I knew it wasn’t normal. I wanted to share it with someone but I was too embarrassed
