The hindenburg was a large blimp that transported people over the atlantic. It was the fastest way to get across the atlantic at the time, and was significant to air technology. On it’s last flight in 1937, disaster struck, ending rigid airship transportation.
The Hindenburg was just as big as the titanic, and was a huge advancement in the early 1900s. At 803.8 feet, it was a wonder. The Zeppelin was used as a five star hotel, only for high class customers. Hitler funded it to hope it would show how advanced German air travel was. He was trying to establish Germany as a force to be reckoned with.
