The romanticism paintings are basically focus on the emotions but also nature and ralationship with mandkind with it. The most valuable and important painting is that making landscape of natures or outdoors. The art work of “The Haywain” is perfect example of landscape romanticism painting. He well expressed the moods of calmess, languid afternoon and peaceful ambience of rural farm. He used the mix of two types of color which is cool and warm colors but mostly gloomy natural tone expressive warm colors that he did well articulated the scenery of farm such as trees on the background, cloudy sky and the green bushes. On the other hand, Munch used the striking intense red color looks like burn furiously to drew the sky that expressed the feeling of him when he was in that situation. The theme of this painting is pretty much focus on the rural life and picturesque of the landscape which Constable loved a lot. The Haywain took place in the Flatford Mill the place in East Bergholt, on the river Stour, in Suffolk, in England. This painting drew during English industry revolution. The farming work became more use of machines and technologies that loss of job of farmer and reduced the men power. He did not want to draw the industrized rural area but he wanted to draw the natural scenery of landscape itself that people working in farm by using their power of body instead of using machines. He wanted to paint the rural area before the began of industrized revolution that he drew the scenery of the place when he saw he was child and remember that memory and drew the natural scenery of place. Also Munch drew “The Scream” based on his actual experiences of scream passing through of nature while he was walking on the street. “I was walking along the road wit two friends, the sun was setting, suddenly the sky turned blood red. I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence, there was blood and tongues of fire aboce the blue-black fjord and the city, my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature” (Munch, The Scream).
