Every year about 735,000 Americans have a heart attack. Of these, 525,000 are a first heart attack and 210,000 happen in people who have already had a heart attack (CDC). The numbers are real and its sad think that people are dying everyday over something as simple as eating the wrong foods. When I graduated high school I gained a lot of weight, and was very lethargic. I was always tired and just never felt good. I then saw a picture of myself and knew that something had to change. I was at the time consuming a large glass of chocolate milk and pop-tart every night before going to bed. These dead calories in took in every night built up on my body and really made me gain weight fast. That’s when I knew that I had to make a change with my diet and my way of living. When I first started off I was working out 3-4 times a week in the evenings. After working out I would do some type of cardio, either running the field or laps around the track. My diet changing was the big difference maker. I started eating breakfast every morning egg whites, toast, and orange juice. Waking up and getting your metabolism running is a huge factor in controlling and losing
