Hamlet is trying to basically bait her into a relationship that is not going to be good for her. Polonius also is in the scene and talks to laertes about paris.-MORAL CORRUPTION x The ghost reappears in this scene and is portrayed through the eyes of Hamlet as his father, however Horatio also notices the ghost and has other opinions about this ghost. He has conflicting ideas and is nervous that the ghost could be from heaven or it could be from hell, in which case the ghost would be satan. Hamlet is welcomed by the ghost and it tries to get Hamlet to follow the spirit. However he goes on his own that night. - ACTION/INACTION x Hamlet is greeted by this ghost once more, except with horrifying news this time that Hamlet has to live with for the rest of his life. The ghost tells him that he is the spirit of his father and he is living in purgatory and he only has a minute, however he says that claudius poured poison into the ear of his father when he was sitting in a chair, and it killed him almost immediately and he had no time to wash away his sins. Therefore Hamlets father is probably going to hell. Does this mean the ghost is satan?- MYSTERY OF
