They had to be close to home because the plane crashed almost instantly.
The purpose of writing The Cay was to show friendship and treating each other equal.
I was wondering about the beginning and I wanted to ask where everyone else on the trip went.
How Philip's parents lived with no harm,there was never an explanation to why they lived.

Timothy was at all times respectful even when Philip was mean to him. They find or kill animals to survive. Timothy teaches Philip to hunt food and water. Philip starts to go blind by looking at the sun. Philip needs to learn to survive without being able to see. Timothy cannot teach him because he was never blind. Philip started to hate Timothy again after he became blind.
How unfair other people were treated when they didn’t deserve it. How the dumbest people can think of the smartest things. It makes me try and think of ways that they will get off of the island or try. It makes me feel bad when they say all the good things at home. I hear leaves shaking in the wind at the end. I hear big waves hear the end when they had a storm. I hear birds chirping or cricket sounds when the island is all peaceful.
