Also based on the article, “The Health Risk of Obesity” stated “Fifteen percent of children are obese from the excessive amount of usage of technology” (1). For an instance, in a 2005 survey from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (2015) found that American children age 8 to 18 spent an average of about six hours a day watching television and videos, playing video games, and using computers instead of physical activity (1). It lacks the amount of exercise a body needs and will create unhealthy eating habits. They consume more sugary snacks than eating fruits or vegetables. These issues caused from obesity to increase in
