In fact, they enjoyed torturing and humiliating black folks. For example, when a child dropped his doll, Nat took it from the ground and gave it to him; thereafter, his father came and hit Nat with a stick on the accusing Nat that he assaulted him and his wife. Also, they did not give them any rights and they were selling them as goods. They were trying to scare the slaves to exploit them. Neighboring plantation owners saw how effective Nat’s sermons were in calming slaves, so Nat was forced to tour the farmlands preaching servitude straight out of the bible to slaves, even as they were tortured. Because Samuel and his family were better than other whites, they treated Nat well compared to the other slave owners and allowed him to learn, but that did not last long. When Nat baptized a white man, Samuel whipped him to the bone. After that, Nat decided to have freedom and end slavery. The black people revolted and killed many slave owners and their families. They wanted to retaliate against white people. Unfortunately, the revolution did not last long, white folks won the battle and killed the black people. On November 11, 1831, Nat was executed in Courtland, Virginia. However, this was not the end of the conflict; it was the spark that ignited the revolution, the event that raised the awareness of the African Americans, and the birth of a new nation.
