Recycling isn’t limited to just paper anymore. According to DoSomething.org, “In 2010, paper recycling had increased over 89% since 1990.” Recycled materials include: cans, bottles, plastic, metals, glass, electronics, and batteries. By recycling these objects they get repurposed and less is wasted. Recycling has been around since the beginning of time, because animals, plants, and waste are recycled back into the ground and returned to the Earth.
