My 10 most important takeaways from the readings are the following:

The overall interaction between the vectors, when they match and when they differ The best way to describe the difference between the primary and secondary vector is comparing them to an orchestra performance; with the primary vector as the conductor, who is responsible for content and procedure and secondary as the orchestra itself, with their own interpretation and dynamic. The components are accountability, rules, routines, expectations, consequences, monitoring and assessment. All of these components enable a positive learning environment that is safe and respectful. If these components are not emphasized or in place, a teacher can easily lose the classroom dynamic and learning will be diminished or non existing.

8) Understanding students emotions and their impact Students emotions affect their overall learning capabilities and classroom behaviors. The text perfectly outlines with several example how students negative emotion can be counterproductive to the students learning process and that yelling and ignoring wont have a positive impact at all. On the contraire students excel in a warm, caring environment that understand their emotions and engages in positive reinforcement rather than negative ones.
9) teacher’s self assessment Te text talks about novice teachers and how their self-confidence as well as self-assessment can be to big for their own good. It is important to be self-confidence as a teacher but it also important to be self0critical and admit fault. I think this is one of the major take aways from the text, appropriate self-assessment and admitting to mistakes.
10) Importance of a
