Many people from different countries came into America for various reasons from corrupt governments to economic stability. Most immigrants were not living freely in their home country, therefore they wanted something better from themselves and their family. There are numerous accounts of immigrants and their stories of why they entered the U.S. America may not have been great before or even today, but it had at least something better to offer.
