During this stage, client learns to accept the truth that is going to happen in near future. “Living with an incurable disease does not mean living without hope” (Benzein, Norberg, & Saveman, 2001, p. 123). The hopeful picture gives direction to a client to focus on purposeful and joyful things instead of feeling about past regrets. In this phase, a client tries to re-establish or reframe a new form of life that adds charm to painful suffering life. It is similar as like as to light up a bulb in a dark empty room. The concept of hope does not rely on a client only but it is also the duty of family members, relatives, friends to appreciate all the small things did by client’s in their past. Moreover, a positive attitude and behavior plays a vital role in attaining meaningful hope apparently.

Here, the two selective interventions remained beneficial to improve the quality of care of the client. Initially, being an empathetic tried to relate the feelings and spoken words of the client and communicated these with the client to make it understandable. The vital reason for this was to make her to feel special, to experience warmth, and to develop trustworthy relations. Johnson and Roberts (1996) acknowledged that “empathy allows the nurse to communicate understanding without expressing feelings of judgment” (para.
