Men do not like to be wrong. They want to feel strong and empowered. Teiresias observes that a good man stops and owns up to his mistakes when wrong and I agree with his excerpt. It takes a lot of willpower and courage for men to do this. Men do not want to be proven wrong and when they get proven wrong, they do not want to admit it. If they chose to admit it, it would better themselves. It would help them see that it is okay to be wrong and make mistakes like all humans do. Men are stubborn and want to feel prideful. There are some forms of pride that can show good quality but being overly prideful can shine a negative light on yourself. Having too much pride can cause you to be blind to your own mistakes. People can get in trouble for their pride. Being overly prideful can lead to lying, which puts you in an even worse situation than you began in.
