The peasants of France were tired of being grossly mistreated by the aristocrats so they turned to violence to solve their issues. They started by storming the Bastille to free all the prisoners and then all the aristocrats were arrested and killed. This shows how brutal people can become when oppressed for so long. This type of behavior shows up again in today’s society in Egypt. There is avery large political strain in Egypt’s culture today. Two different religions have caused much strife and differences in leadership. One group is very vocal in their disapproval of leadership and the other side is not vocal in approval. This creates an atmosphere of hostility and unrest in the egyptian society very similar to pre-revolution france. “Scattered violence was reported as fireworks and lasers lighted the Sunday night sky. Almost a mirror image of the peasants in france so they story relates directly to the real
