As he searches for reassurance from the sisters, he learns, “Laugh to scorn The power of man, for none of woman born Shall harm Macbeth,” (4.1.81-83). Hearing this from the sisters makes Macbeth feel unstoppable because he doesn't understand how any man cannot be born of women. Therefor he believes that no one will harm him and he can take on any enemy that he may encounter. The sisters also reveal, “Be lion-mettled, proud, and take no care Who chafes, who frets, or where conspirers are.
