Required background and experience of key personnel Tyisha Johnson is the founder and CEO of Mission With a Purpose. She brings a wealth of knowledge and personal life experiences that are relevant to teenagers. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and founded MWP based on being a teen mom at the age of nineteen.
Kiara Hicks is our Office Manager and she has volunteered her time, and resources to assist in the start-up of Mission With a Purpose. Ms. Hicks has a Bachelor’s degree in Management, and believes in the career growth, success, and development of our teenagers. She keeps our office grounded, and devotes much of her time towards community service, and street outreach programs. Teja Terry is our receptionist who obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Ms. Terry ensures our teens are adequately equipped with office supplies, interview attire, resume folders, and the tools required for a successful interview. As our business continues to grow, we will seek employment for our teenagers who have assisted and have been successful. We will seek out shelters, schools, and colleges to locate qualified individuals who are seeking a lasting career opportunity.
Compensation and benefit packages Mission With a Purpose office hours are Monday-Friday, with a staff personnel working one Saturday a month. We offer competitive pay, based on experience/and or education. We offer competitive medical, dental, maternity, vision, life insurance, 401K/Roth, and special service benefits (i.e., legal, accidental, Life lock). We also offer vacation and sick benefits, with forty hours starting after ninety days of employment.
Employee training plans
Our staff training consists of onsite and offsite training classes and courses. The owner and/or Office Manager handle training until further expansion of Mission With a Purpose. Training is in-depth and includes forty hours of onsite training, followed by sixteen hours of offsite training. The final stage of training includes five hours of online educational training, which is split into mornings throughout the first week of
