Imagine keeping secrets from your parents. Imagine stealing expensive jewelry to act “cool.” This was the life of Erik Fisher. Ever since Erik was older he started acting ferocious. For instances, “She (Erik’s mom) held up a white cigarette butt and said, You don't know anything about this, do you? No. I found it in the garage, behind the water heater.” This evidence illustrates how suspicious Erik was acting before moving to Tangerine, Florida. After a few days of going to a new school Erik made a new friend named Author. Author was a very quiet and sneaky boy who has been in situations with the police. This was not the type of friend Erik needed. A few months went by of Author and Erik acting sneaky. Until Author was pleaded guilty of murdering their friend Luis Cruz. Therefore, Author was locked up that same day. That’s when Erik’s little brother explained to the police and their parents that it was Erik’s idea to murder and kill Luis.
