This is why it is broken down into three distinctly different writing categories colloquial, moderate, and formal. Understanding the differences of the three styles is utterly important for being able to correctly access when it is appropriate to use them. Over time a writer will gain the skills to subconsciously evaluate the situation, and accurately decide what type of writing is appropriate. All of these factors lead to the English language being considered one of the most challenging language to learn. On the other hand, that same aspect is what makes it so unique. It allows an author to express their ideas and emotions through their writing in an academic or exciting format and everything in between. It may take a little longer to get the hang of, but the struggle sure seems to be worth it in the long
