I immediately was upset because we had been waiting for four hours to keep our spots and we were tired from standing for so long. I’m a 19 year old Hispanic woman and I felt intimidated by this woman because she looked much older than me, but also because she looked to be drunk. I thought about not saying anything, but then I realized that this was probably the only time I was going to be able to see Lana Del Rey perform. So I got enough courage to politely ask her if she could get down from the rail because she was blocking my view and also the view of the people that were behind her. She told me that she was VIP and that she deserved to be on that rail because she paid for it. I continued to ask her if she could please get down, but she then decided to attack me based on the color of my skin. She told me to get out of her country and that I had no right to be there because I belonged in Mexico along with all the other immigrants coming into her country. I am an American citizen and I was born in the United States, so her comment did not offend me personally but it did hurt me
